About Sanjhi Tokri – Sanjhi Tokri is a sustainable initiative trying to turn around the inequity of income distribution in agriculture value chain, where the primary value creator which is the farmer gets the smallest share, in long term we would love to unpack bipolar ethos of buyer and seller to a more richer collaborative one in short term. We intend to reset the value chain, such that end consumer gets clean food at market comparable prices and producer gets a significant share of the value chain. The role shall entail taking up complete ownership of back-end supply chain – from production planning to delivery, high level work breakdown may include
- Capacity building in village – identify/train /learn/ collaborate with farmers and other value adding grass root partners
- Design and execute an efficient and effective delivery system – create a financially sustainable delivery model which can match best of breed in the supply chain industry.
- Innovate – Envision, partner and execute various community building initiatives to foster the “Sajhedari“ spirit
Typically this role will suit a person who feels energized in resource constrained rustic setting.
